Countless organisations and their customers count on Centrics technological solutions, high-quality IT services, and qualified professionals every day.
Together with Fabrique, I've worked on the Centric Insights platform, which transfers their knowledge to their visitors.
I begin by researching the current platform to assess its features, branding, and overall performance. I focused on identifying areas where connections could be made between different elements, like content and navigation. I also note the platform’s strengths and weaknesses, including limited integrations and inconsistent branding. This research helps guiding the project.
Functional Design
I started by wireframing the article page, as it’s a key landing spot for many users. This page is where most engagement and conversions are likely to happen, so it was essential to create a layout that is easy to read and has the option to add additional conversion elements (which are highlighted in green.)
For the homepage and category pages I kept close to a standard, proven blog layout. This approach ensures a familiar and intuitive structure for users, making it easy to navigate and find relevant content while maintaining consistency across the platform.
Design Explorations
I explored different brand approaches and layouts to experiment with the look and feel of the platform. This helped refine the balance between innovation and staying true to Centric’s brand identity.
Final Design
For the final design, I stayed closely aligned with Centric’s brand colors to maintain consistency. However, since the Centric Insights platform needed to stand out as more innovative and distinct, I introduced subtle design elements (typography, abstract element and different spacings/paddings) that set it apart while still staying true to the brand’s identity. This balance ensured a fresh, engaging user experience without losing brand recognition.
